and I think it might be the best game I've ever played. The game is beautiful- gorgeous lighting effects, fantastic art direction, beautiful feathery effects (you should see the fur on a colossus) and a heartstopping motion blur that makes it 10x prettier. The feel of the game is excellent, being alone with your horse, exploring this enormous land... it feels real. And the colossus fights are the most terrifically brilliant things I've ever seen- they're engrossingly cinematic (my friend watched me beat the first one, and he almost passed out from holding his breath) and completely organic. It's just as much puzzle as action, but it doesn't feel like that- it feels as if you're actually fighting this huge thing- an amazing feeling indeed. And the beasts themselves are completely believable and realistic- they behave exactly as they should, and when they do something, it doesn't feel like "oh, it's doing this now", rather it feels like "holy shit this thing is trying to kill me!". I'm about halfway through the game, and I'd give it a 10 out of 10 without a second thought.

well, i remember watching the trailer a couple months back and i was pretty impressed
ill definately check it out

doesn't come here for a few months, but i want it incredibly badly.

I've saw the game in my friends house, it pretty fun first , but the second half of the game is boring.. cuz you do the same thing again and again and again...

When i played the demo it was great , i loved it..but the full game dont worth buying, rent it..

You are among the lucky people that have seen what can happen when developers step outside the box that most seem to be stuck in of late and create an experience rather than just a game. The amazing atmosphere and emotion generated by this title are unparalleled. Nice purchase.

I don't know, it doesn't feel boring at all to me. I'm absolutely infatuated with it.

I watched some friends play it for a while and it looked pretty interesting.

The only complaints I have:
-Some of the environments I saw seemed kinda dull and boring. I did see some that looked better, though.
-It seems to me kinda like a game that is just 12 (something like that? not sure of the #) quests like WoW where you go hunt down a guy and kill him, then repeat the process. Now, I'm not a big WoW fan or anything (I played for a couple months and quit), but it just seems like that's too short of a game. You can't customize your character/items/weapons at all, you don't have a choice of "quests" to do, you can't interact with other players, and it just seems very limited in terms of what there is to do.

I liked the style of the game and how it looks somewhat "massive" when you play it, but compared to other games it seems like there is very little to do. And once you beat it, it seems like there would be zero replay value.

don't the individual 'battles' last hours ? so, i'm fairly certain there 13, 13 times 3hours (average, remember reading that in a review) is 39hours, give or take a few you have a rather long game which causes you to think (figure out how to beat each colosii and they are all different).

I watched my fried beat one of them, and most of the time was spent finding where the colossus was (he'd already killed it before but forgot). Once he got to the thing it only took 5, maybe 10 mins max to kill it. (It was the one where you get on his head and control him, I think around #8ish)

Sure, you have to figure out how to kill it... but do you really want to keep taking X minutes to run to the location, and die to the guy while you're trying to figure out what to do, over and over again?

I'm not saying it's a bad game, it just seems kind of boring and repetitive to me. I certainly can't deny that it was well-made and is very unique.

the gameplay is good (figuring out how to kill a boss, instead of how many bullets it needs for repetive games like hl2, quake4 and so on), so sure, there is a level of repetiveness in every game.

I see that people when see this game they thought that is a medieval rpg like game
this game is very original and is very well done and just a beatifull masterpiece of game and everyone should give it a try

off course when you beat it it dont hav so much replay value but still is a experience that worths a lot

The game just feels absolutely beautiful to me- it's like playing a work of art. THAT's why I love it.

i asked in eb last week, and they said they did have it, so i was going to pick it up the next days with some other things and they said they didn't and they [somehow] confused it with another game.

i'll check again now though.
