These cds are great. So far I'm listening to Rise Against - Appeal to reason, which is absalutely amazing. What is everyone elses opinion on these 2 cds.

I've always had a soft spot for Em.. Loving the new CD, it's a bit of a return to the MMLP style darkness..
He's got mad flow all over. Dre's beats are some hot shit as well.

Rise Against's Appeal to Reason is a pretty fantastic CD. It might be my favourite of theirs. I'm kind of torn between that and Siren Song of the Counter Culture.

The new eminem CD is garbage for the most part, by far his worst yet. "same song and dance" and "beautiful" are ok, "crack a bottle" is by far my favorite. The rest I probably won't listen to again, really disappointed.

I stopped listening to Em after The Eminem Show. Complete garbage followed.

Didnt know about Rise Against's new cd. I'll have to check it out. Couldnt give a shit about the other person.

I've always been a fan of Eminem's beats & rhymes - never been so much a fan of the homophobia & hate that's caught up in some his stuff though. I'll check out the new record.

I liked Appeal to Reason, a good Rise Against album.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on Eminem. His new album is definitely worse than his old ones.

The more I listen to eminem's album the more it grows on me. Still not as good as his other albums (nothing will ever beat Slim Shady LP) but I'm starting to like it.

Don't like Eminem too much, but I must say his song Beautiful is awesome.

Appeal to Reason is an awesome album. I kinda prefer The Sufferer and the Witness though.

I was disappointed with Appeal to Reason. Not really bad, but it didn't really do anything for me. The Sufferer and the Witness, Siren Song of the Counter Culture, and Revolutions Per Minute were all so much better to me (I just noticed that they seem to like really, really long album titles). Not sure why I felt that way, but if I were to hazard a guess I would say that Appeal to Reason was too subdued and not angry enough. I really can't fault it on any objective level, though. I was just a bit let down, especially since I absolutely adored Sufferer/Witness.

I've always thought Eminem was somewhat of a douchebag.
