I've moved and now have brodband internet. I still don't have Xbox live but I'm worried the package we got wont be good enogh to play TF2 online. 768 X 128 that's suposed to be the connection speed. Is that fast enogh for TF2? plz give good news.

ya you have ADSL, which is enough for it. you should get 50< ping on most servers

Ok just so I'm certain. With a 768 X 128 connection (my internet comes throgh the cable company btw) I should get 50 ping. And that's good right?

shouldn't be a problem unless your connection requires software to connect to your modem. if it does then you will need to purchase a router.

FTTH is superior and I bloody wish we'd get it down here. Our government are retards however and want to go with FTTN (Fibre to the Node) So everyone still gets ****ed around by the limitations of copper. Fibre to the home is a clear winner and requires far less technical bullshit to work awesomely for everyone.

Everything about my Tf2 is fine, apart from my processor, which recently really spoils big 32 player matches.

It seems like my Processor is dieing, hopefully it is, it'll gimme a chance to buy a new one

Connection fights? It's a valid point and it's already been established TF2 will run fine on your connection (You can play source games fine on 56k if you lower your rates (8000,30,30). Many countries are currently stuck in a sad lack of decent internet infra. Hell many countries simply lack infrastructure of any kind.
