Just got my new broadband...

Hi.
I just got my Orange Livebox, setted it up with no help from the installation CD, and I am on the net. The problem is, I don't see the two little flashy computers in my system tray like I use to.
Is there anyway to get them back to check my internet speed?
I've used the internet to check it, but I just want the two computers there.

the little internet thing will not tell you your internet speed. it will only tell you the transfer speed that your NIC will transfer.

to answer your question though. go to control panel and then to your network settings. right click on local area connection and click properties. it should then bring you to the menu and at the bottom check off where it says 'notify me if connected'.
