Wonder if your CPU was downclocking from heat before... Thats the only thing I can think of that would explain the increase in FPS.
Good old pentium 4's with the Easy-Bake Oven feature.

Do you know what your CPU temps were from the internal sensor?

temporary increase, your system will end up hotter than it was when there is loads of dust
youll have to clean it regularly

Couldn't he put a polythene bag that funnels from the sides of the case to the sides of the fan. So only cold air can get in and hot air out? Wouldn't that work?
 
LOL, that's great, ahaha. Ever hear of arctic silver? They're like 15 bucks USD a tube right? Wouldn't that be better? Good laughs though man ahaha I fell back in my chair when I saw it and choked on baklavah Haha.

Still works lol , Next step open the window next to my PC for extra cooling for the winter. Screw watercooling
 
What were you doing in your chair wearing a Balaklavah, Freemanator? :x
