Excellent movie, very good. I honestly didn't find anything that stood out and bothered me. The fights are brutal, all the fighting looks soo real. Every hit and jab looks gut wrenching. I often times found myself cheering Crowe during his fights, it really gets you attached to Crowes character and moves you emotionally. You don't want to miss this one guys. Go see it!

how can you not like Russel Crowe? He is amazing in every movie he does.

I just find him extremely unlikable. When I see him I want to punch myself in the face. And I disagree about his being amazing. I find he's typecast most of the time, always playing similar characters. And he never changes his facial expression. Seriously, what's up with that?
Oh, and he's Australian ;P
 
Similar characters? He's played a schizo mathematician, a Roman general and a tobacco research biologist.
 
In everything I've seen him in, he's always played the underdog, someone who rises up against the odds type thing.
I dunno, I just don't like him!

That's exactly what I was gonna say :p

Just got back from seeing it as well. I liked it a lot. They did a great job of building it up emotionally. I was tense at the end of the final fight.

One very strange thing...his little girl on the stairs when the mother comes in the door says, "Cops?" Wtf is that? I have no idea why that was in the movie but I couldn't help but laugh being a college kid that has to keep various activities under the radar.
 
Looks like a interesting movie. Ill check it out some time.

They must've hired an Academy Award winning/nominated garbage collector and food caterer.

I think she was just joking with the kids to scare them. Like if your mom or dad came home and your parent said "its the boogeyman" well its kinda the same thing.

He goes crazy in A beautiful mind, dies in gladiator, and looses his family in the contender. How is he always an underdog?

The little girl is the one that said, "Cops" when her mother came in. The girl couldn't see the mother but I still found it weird...
