...and wow...One of the best movies I've ever seen. Action is great, story is compelling, acting is phemomenal, and I just built up an emotional attachment to the characters. Simply amazing...

GO SEE IT IF YOU HAVE NOT YET (and are of age due to violence, minor drug use, cursing, and sexual themes) AND IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SEE IT AGAIN!

Oh yeah, see the uncut international version because the local version has some GREAT scenes that establish relations cut.

Agreed, great film, and Portman was a great child actress. To have a career topping performance at 11 or whatever she must have been, must surely feel weird to her now...

Unfortunately I watched Leon far too many times and killed it slightly. I still know it's great though.

just watched it again last night, it's so damn good, but some of those scenes with natalie poportman make me feel like a pedophile, i have to do the laundry after i watch it, so i can clean off the stains

Yeah rocks! - i cried for leon we can all relate to how a killer can have a soft heart.

Going to watch this movie very soon. Sounds interesting.

Absolutely one of my favourite movies... superb acting from Portman, Reno and Oldman. It has everything - drama, action, comedy... I order those who haven't seen it to do so!

did we need to know the last bit?

oh yeah call it leon, the professional is the american name :dozey: , good film.

Pffft, Americans these days. Don't state the obvious, we know he is a professional.:p

Oldman was the highlight of the movie for me, but Reno is too cool.

it was stated so everyone else could feel a bit more comfortable about their own attraction to Portman in the movie, i wonder about the director...

So many times I have seen it, great film. I might be able to get quite cheap now that its a fair few years old.

Wow, you guys are talking about a 12 year old girl...She's cute as a child, but...Thats wrong... :p

Gonna' watch it again while I still have the rental :D I really want to undo seeing it and watch it again or see something that will give the same impression...

Amazing movie, simply love the acting and style. Leon is one of the best fictional hitmen/assassins ever in my opinion.

Yeah man. Superb performance from a wonderful actor.

BTW, without scanning IMDB, was anyone else aware that Oldman plays the the guy with the ****ed up face (Mason Verger) in Hanibal? when I found that out I was like "woa, really?"

This movie is simply amazing, the story is good, the action is good and smart, and the acting is wonderfull

Oh yeah and the soundtrack is great to, you might wanna try to listen to it.

agreed the ST is awesome alright.

Never really listened to the soundtrack. Brilliant film though, highlight for me is definately Oldman, wicked villian.
The part near the beginning where he just slides so smoothly out of the darkness with a knife is pretty cool. He'd so kick Sam Fisher's ass. ;)

"Bring me everyone."
"What do you mean everyone?"
"EEEEVERYONE!!"

Had to say it.

**cough**PortmanishotinTheProfessional**cough**

Gary Oldman, for sure a highlight of the whole movie, when he snaps those pills in his mouth and freaks out with the shotgun...I was totally "F**k yeah"
