Seems like a whole bunch of art students worked on this and put all of their creations together and got someone to code it to zoom in like that its sorta cool as on my comp screen some of the faces seem to move.

I like that. Never seen it done before, that kinda technique would make great picture books - could even animate much of it too, make it interactive n stuff. Good ol' flash

Take a vacation, plan one out, get a bunch of guys from around the net who like HL2 and put one together, I'm sure Valve would be interested in seeing it. Would be cool too

All my holiday leave has been used up until next April (except a week at christmas) so that's unlikely to happen. Besides, once THE DAMN GAME is released, after just 2 nights of playing it, I will most likely be vacating this site (after a brief whine about being able to finish it so quickly :E ) and my attention will be turned to the next Big Thing. Probably Stalker.
