just want some opinions

hey.. i was just wondering if you guys think my system will be able to handle hl2 at say... 1024x768 with full graphics.. or what you think my system will be able to run best at.. thanks in advance, i built it myself by the way...

intel p4 2.8 ghz (800mhz fsb) <winxp system>
geforce fx 5900 256mb ddr
1024 kingston hyperx ddr pc3200 (400mhz)
2 7200rpm drives totalling about 171.5 gigs

farcry is played pretty good.. i get some input lag every now and then.. i believe thats because its rendered in d3d9... will i be able to play hl2 in opengl?

it'll be fine, and no hl2 does not support opengl

everthing looks ok by me, just make sure ya got plenty of cooling, at least a REAL 400w PSU, i got a feeling that we are going to be taxing our systems to the max.
