dunno if anyone knows what wrong but..
whenever i play CS, my pc will restart at a random point while playing, no warning, no crash, no error. This happens when i play it with custom/default content, on other steam account. But it does not restart on any other Steam games, eg. DoD, CS:S, etc.
This started happening quite recently so I isntalled service pack 2 but tbh that made the whole situation even more frustrating (still restarted), uninstalled that and still restarts.
Im running XP Pro, SP 1, got norton antivirus 2005 and Internet Security 2005, got Direct X 9.0c installed tried rolling back to 8 didnt help.It does not restart on any other games like Doom 3 Farcry or Unreal 2004, and yes i have done a fresh install of Steam,CS, blah, blah, blah
