I remember hearing about this game a long while ago and now it comes out today yet there is zero buzz. I have seen a few positive reviews but was wondering if anyone else is going to pick this game up? I know it is getting overshadowed by Crysis and Assassin's Creed (that comes out today too doesn't it?) but I am intrigued.

I'm going to give it a go, as I just finished CoD4 and Crysis and don't have any consoles. The only problem I've seen from the vids is that the AI looks really stupid.

I was pumped for the game for about a week then Call of Duty 4 released more info on their MP and my hype shifted.

I'm not sure if it'll warrant a purchase, I'll wait for a demo... it does look really stylish though.

This certainly looks interesting, in a similar vein to Freedom Fighters. It has a co-op option too, which can only be a good thing.

If it's there when I pick up Super Mario Galaxy and Assassin's Creed, I might not be able to control myself.

i alrady have Orange Box and COD4, thatl take me through to the new year

It's definitely going to be a cinematic experience.
It looks like Heat mixed with a bit of Collateral.Micheal Mann should be proud.
The graphics do look a bit dated though.I assume it's the Hitman engine.
Anyway, just hearing that Jesper Kyd got on board to do the soundtrack had me sold.
The guitar riff in the trailers gives me a boner every time i hear it.

I want to give it a shot because IO made Freedom Fighters and this looks like more of that, but with a storyline about what appears to be bank robbers. It could be the best thing since sliced-bread.

The vids I have seen heretofore have been looking really crummy, but maybe it will be good. Too bad I have no time for the potentially mediocre when such obvious gold is being delivered almost daily this week and next!

I don't think the game is going to be winning game of the year, but if it delivers a fairly solid experience I'll probably give it a look see (time to check those reviews). Certainly the graphics aren't amazing, but they are throwing up some pretty hefty crowd scenes based off the trailers, so I'm prepared to forgive them for not having state of the art graphics, and let's face it, playing a game with a bank shootout similar to Heat is always a going to be a bit of a draw :D

Had a chance to play it with a friend who works at Best Buy, he snuck a copy before they even stocked it.

The bank heist mission was ****ing metal pants. Rappelling down a building, busting through windows and working your way through a bank while your insane partner kills hostages with psychotic glee was great. From what I've played, the ai was made stupid because you have the whole ****ing police force and SWAT on your ass the minute you step out of the bank. Give them good ai and you would never last. It's like they wanted you to murder the entire police force while making off with an asscrack load of money. The graphics were also worth the sacrifice imo. The number of corpses/running screaming people onscreen as we exited the bank was awesome.

We never played past that, but I say it's worth a buy. Or maybe that's just my inner psychopath speaking.

I was going to order off amazon but now it says it doesn't come out until Friday.
