Kazaa Lite and other P2P programs

I used kazaa lite all the time on my previous computer and everything ran fine...now on this new i try and use it and it just contiues to say "connecting" and never connects. Can someone give me some input as to what is going on here? What other programs do you guys use? Legal/illegal?

:O Re-install Kazaa Lite, I use K++ Kazaa Lite and it runs fine. I also use SoulSeek, which is mainly a music library... but it has loads of them.
