Makes the design ambidextrous. One of the major complaints about bullpups is they're not suited to left handed shooters (Though some designs offer a left hand conversion) or that you cant fire them off your weak shoulder in combat (such as if you wanted to lean out from cover while exposing the minimum of your body to the enemy) without getting a face full of hot brass and or a cocking handle to the face.

yea but the p90 ejects shells out the bottom, which seems a lot more simple. I mean what happens if dirt gets in the ejection tube or you don't clean it (and even if you you're now cleaning two barrels, instead of one)
