This is kind of a strange question but well there are alot of strange people on the fourms :P

Does any body know what font the text is on the keys of a keybord?

I dont know why anybody would know but if you do know it would be a great help!

that would probably depend on what keyboard you have. for example, they font on the keys on the laptop i'm using now is different from the keyboard I use at home.

I was thinking that my self but im talking home PC's, Just like a normal keybord no fancy onces.

I think its 'Times New Roman' dude, the text we are writing in now.

Whoa, I never noticed that the letters aren't in the middle of the buttons...

I'm in shock! :O

(And TNR actually does a captial 'I' correctly... the I's on my keyboards are just straight lines!)

This font is Verdana, not Times New Roman.

The keyboard front is a fairly generic one (intended to be easy to read). In Windows fonts Arial, Veranda, and MS San Serif are probably the most similar.

:dozey: I think the typical would be Arial and Times New Roman. I myself use bold Arial size 8-10 for chatting.

/me points and laughs at ailevation for mis-reading the original post :smoking:

its hard to tell as the keys are in capitals... it would be easier to tell the difference if they were lower case.

by the way, i just compared font and the font we are using now is verdanna, but the font printed on my keyboard is Arial.

an easy way to tell is to look at the J.. on verdanna it has a line as the top as shown, but in arial it does not. so arial is simpler ;)

but MS San Serif has no line at the top of the J either :P

I don't think they have a font. They're just block letters.

On my logitech they are in the top left, on my dell they are in the middle....
