Keyboard Issue with games...

When I bought my new Keyboard, I was stoked. Well, I tried to play Stepmania, and I realized I can't hit 3 buttons at the same time, which hinders my playing ability since alot of the times I gotta hit 3 buttons at the same time! I remember my old keyboard I couldn't hit W, A, and Space at teh same time, it would beep at me...

Is there any way to change what buttons I can hit at teh same time and such? Or am I really just SOL?

A PS2 error, I think. I get it aswell. I dunno about USB keyboards. But my wireless keyboard didn't flinch when I pressed 3 or more buttons at the same times (it's broken now though )

I figured it was a general Keyboard problem, I just think it's weird that on this keyboard I can push all buttons I want together except the arrow keys.. >_<

*EDIT* It doesn't beep either, it just won't acknowledge the other button being hit...kind of sucks for discovering which ones don't work.

Keyboard manufacturers skimp on the amount of buttons being able to be pressed simultaneously to lower building costs or some shit. You'll just have to rapidly tap them one after another.

Yeah, I figured out it's not just the arrow keys, it's the whole bunch, sadly. Hmm, too bad there wasn't a setting somewhere I could unlock the holds

Yeah, hate this. Sucks for when I'm trying to play something like Little Fighter two player.

That's the exact reason why I spent weeks to find a stupid cheap keyboard and spent €30 to get it too. This one (sweex sw-23) can do every combination just fine Like W + A + space + tab + ctrl no problem. I could probably use shift at the same time as well if I had any fingers to spare I love it.

All logitech keyboards allow you to press alot of buttons at the same time.

My friend has a logitech keyboard that can't do SHIFT + W + A or D. In other words, he can't strafe while crouching forwards.

some keyboards do that. i just read a test in a german gaming magazine, where one out of 10 had that issue. best bet is to inform about it before you buy, or get an expensive one

the one i've got not is worth about $60 and i didn't have a single issue with it yet.

I figured 70 bux WAS an expensive keyboard.

*sigh* Oh well, guess I just have to live with it.
