Hey guys i have a really weird problem and im really not sure what else i can try to fix it besides re-installing windows. Anyways...

I am dual booting 32 bit xp with 64 bit vista.

I recently upgraded from an e4300 to a Q6600 cpu and i flashed my mobo to the latest bios. I have my keyboard and mouse both connected through usb ports on my comp. When i go into bios i have full keyboard and mouse support, when i boot up vista i have full keyboard and mouse input so there is no problem there. When i boot into xp however it seems that i am unable to get any detection out of either my mouse or keyboard so i am unable to log in or do anything except restart my computer.
I have tried replugging bot keyboard and mouse into different usb ports and i have also tried going into safe mode but nothing seems to get xp to detect my mouse or keyboard. I even tried using the ps/2 port dongle for both and when i do that my keyboard and mouse are not detected at all in bios, or vista, or xp. I have also looked in my bios for all my usb, and usb 2.0, and usb legacy support and they are all enabled. What should i try to do next or any ideas on whats going on? thanks!
