I have not read the comic book but i am looking forward to seeing this.

The movie seems to be filled with a lot of adult humor and gory violence.
Just the kind of movie i like. The dialogue looks like something you'd see in a Seth Rogen/Kevin Smith movie but with a shitload of action.
 
All MTV movie titles must include the word "Ass", this comes straight from the top. Corporate studies show that including the word "ass" in your movie title ensures a successful venture.

Well, obviously I didn't. Just saw those pictures Barnz posted. Having gone back and looked at the trailers you posted, outrage rescinded.

Wait...but her hair isn't in a ponytail! This is an inconsequential nitpick. Also nobody got half their head sliced clean off.

Looks like they're staying very close to the comic, not watering it down at all. That's what happens when you get fans to do this stuff right. I can understand why some people may think it looks bad based on this leaked footage without having read the comic, but I think everyone will be in for a real surprise. People who have seen early screenings are saying great things about it
 
I had never heard of this comic or movie before, but it looks really interesting. Count me interested.

Did the writer ever finish the comic book series? I understood that he wrote a few and then got optioned for the film?

Also I'm amazed they're just throwing out all the action scenes in these clips. Save some for the film, marketing douches...:frown:.
 
this is one of the stupidest things i ever seen.

in general i really hate superhero movies, i'd say only Batman: the beginning and iron man were an exception.

From what I've read from the comic, this is icing on the cake.

The series isn't done yet. Still waiting on issue 8. So what happens in the film's ending might not be the ending in the comics.
