Was killzone 2 (ps3) a no show at E3 this year?
I can't seem to find a single shred of new/usefull info about this game. And I so wanted to see if it actually had in game sequences, or if it were just a pre-rendered movie.

Watch this interview. Phil Harrison of Sony talks about it first thing....

Its one of those titles that since they set the bar so high with the pre-rendered scenes from last E3, there is no way that they are going to release anything that doesn't look at least very close to that standard. And when the game comes out it should be extremely close to that quality because anything less will admit that the PS3 isn't that powerful and that other machines might be more worth your buck because they produce what they say they can produce. Also having Guerilla in-house at Sony is a huge boon. They have been able to do some absolutely mind-blowing things from their first-party devs, so I still have very high-hopes for this one!

Anyone remember the Killzone one hype?

Man that game sucked.

QFT
to bad it'll cost $680 + tax to play the game

I don't understand why people are hyped about Killzone 2. The last one sucked, and the graphics look marginally better than BIA3.

I'm really looking forward to this game. I don't give a damn if the trailer that was released was all rendered stuff, it looked good for reasons beyond its graphics. (This sort of thinking may be new to some.) I won't be buying a PS3, however, but I eagerly await for more videos and pictures to be released, just so I can have something cool to watch.

The first one was a fun, entertaining shooter. Can only hope the 2nd one fares well.

loved the first one only reason it was hindered is because the ps2 couldent handle all the information that was stored in the game!

The first was an at times entertaining shooter, let down by some lack luster level design, god awful dialouge/story, stupid enemy AI and voice overs and some useless character switching.
Killzone was a great let down. Bar the docks level - which was by and large superb. The ocean lapping against the wearing concrete, the sun seeping over the cliffs as the rain came pouring down...
