More info: you're playing a trucker named Travis O'Grady who's lost in Silent Hill. As the name implies, it's a prequel that goes back to the beginning of the series, and you'll run into characters from the later games. "The new Silent Hill: It's older than you think."

5:44 Oh man, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops. I've been waiting for a real MGS on the PSP since the system came out. Trailer starts with scenes of the Boss from Snake Eater. Portable Ops is set in 1970, six years after that game. You're playing as Big Boss, who's defected from the Fox unit but has been charged with treason. You have to disarm the Fox members leading the resistance, and take out the, uh, ultimate enemy. Metal Gear?

In about an hour, Konami will be hosting the full, 15 minute E3 2006 MGS4 trailer on its website

lame idd, i just woke up now and came here straight away, gona watch the sh stuff now, btw theres some cool new screenshots in the mgs4 section of kojima production's site, game looks awesome.
 
Hmmm...seems that Raiden isn't the only one sporting new gear.

Ocelot/Liquid seems to have himself some shiny new metal legs, there.

Wow! I had no idea there was so much to miss in the little bit they showed at Sony's talk!! Man, Raiden has been in serious training I guess because he takes out those Metal Gears lickety-split!! What a beautiful game, though I am a little tired of the desert setting. I really want to see some of the other various settings since it is supposed to take place anywhere in the world where there is fighting and it seems thats all thats left in the world of MGS4. Very very cool--this one should help sell a lot of systems....
 
Raiden surely kicks ass. ;)

I'm a little disappointed that they didn't reveal Vamp, would be interesting to see how he looked like. Although it's probably better to save and reveal the rest of the characters later on.

Vamp's dead, is he not? In fact, I'm sure he is. I drowned him. Yes, I drowned him in MGS2.

NEIN! he reappears at the end of mgs2 when Snake and Raiden are talking in the street after he defeats Solidus, you can see Vamp in the background standing there watching them, quite hard to see but look out for a yellow parked car, hes just beside it :)

After Raiden’s fight against Fortune, Vamp got shot in the head by Raiden and survived.
Then shot again and fell into the water after the fight against Raiden, survived yet again.
Lastly, shot in the head once again with a PSG sniper rifle by Raiden, fell into the water and then disappeared.
This guy is invincible.

yeah i'd like to see vamp, i hope his VA comes back, he was badass, cant wait to see the new bosses and stuff.

No shit! I must have beat that game 20 times, never noticed. Guess there's always something more, huh?
