Kotor Cd Not Running

i had KOTOR (knights of the old republic) installed on my D drive. Well I had to reformat my C drive but when i tried to play KOTOR it didnt work. So I decided to uninstall it, well there was no uninstall file. I couldnt find it, so I just deleted from my D drive. Now when I put KOTOR CD 1 in my cd rom it begins to spin, then stops. It wont run, I even tried clicking on the icon, exploring the cd and clicking on autorun. I dont know what is wrong with it. plz help
