The cold, wide streets of Industry Zone 3 would lie empty if it wasn’t for the settled snow and occasional Combine patrol. Desolate Russian buildings squat amongst towering alien technology, it’s inhabitants long gone. Industry Zone 3, or as the few remaining human residents like to call it; Leningrad, has been forced into submission. Anyone left is either a traitorous Combine Solider or an exhausted citizen kept from freezing to death by only their burning desire for revenge. [br] [br] This is Krasota Razbrosanaya, Hell with snow. [br]

[br]The Krasota Razbrosanaya team (damn, it’s a mouthful) have recently launched their new website. Be sure to check it out; for a relatively new mod, KR is looking incredibly promising.
 
Hooray for Mechagodzilla. :D

Since he worked on it, I will support this mod. And it's in russia!
 
Nice to have an actual location for the city.
I hope they create new models for rebels. Some Russian soldiers would be a nice touch. :)
 
I love the artwork but its not HL/HL2 style. Maps screenshots look ok, but not special.

Ill try it out when its released.

Mod looks interesting but the music on the website is fantastic. Doesn't seem to be any credit given to the musician. I wonder who wrote the track? It's very nice.

Thanks for the comments guys, its only early days still, but its coming along nicely.
 
I'm also acting as a contractual coder for them, until either they find a better coder, or I get round to teaching Samon how C++ works.

Krasota Razbrosanaya is Russian for The Scattered Beautiful. Which, it takes place in Russia, in St. Petersburg, on the coast of the Baltic Sea, and the name itself just really fits with the feeling of the game.

I wish mod teams would make some custom content. Fair enough, there's no point in reinventing the wheel, but maybe make your own type of wheel :P
 
They have their own content, trust me. Otherwise they wouldn't need me to add code majiiiiic to it.

I am Russian so I would know better. I know that Krasota Rasbrosonaja would not work. The reason is that Noun-Verb simply does not flow, if you knew Russian you would understand how incorrect it sounds.

Only when they use alternate nicknames. If I looked at my staff and said "Wow, SixThree is here", that would be one thing, but when I look it over and go down the line, and SixThree isn't there, I assume you're not on the staff.
