Post some screenshots of easter eggs you have found in L4D. Or if its not a screenshot, write down the quote of what the person was saying or whatever.

And comment on other people's Easter Eggs
Heres the one which inspired this thread...

The picture of Gabe's naked body, while he is rubbing cooking oil all over himself.

It moves around all over the maps, and I forgot to SS it last time...BUT IT'S THERE.

Parky got a good few of them. I noticed the Team Fortress 2 box and 'The Terminal' newspaper, those two are pretty awesome to find.

Didn't we establish that the newspaper only has Breen because it is the same texture used in HL2?

Feet.

THEY HAVE LEGS LOOK DOWN. I only found that out the fifth time i played it

There's a lot of detail in this game, and I suppose this one counts as an easter egg. At the start of Blood Harvest, look at the campfire. There's burnt out money in it, which sort of demonstrates the extreme lengths the survivors had to go to to survive.

never noticed that i'll check it out next time i'll play through

At the beginning of Death Toll, there's only 3 sleeping bags.

Do the math.

One could be a look-out .

Also not sure if it counts as an easter egg but sometimes if you listen you can hear what sounds like gun fire.

It's, under the game files, listed as "machine gun fire" or something or other. It's ambience that shows that there are other survivors who are fighting off hoardes.
That you will inevitably never make contact with yourself, but whatever.

BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY

etc

I think I found another tf2 action figure cereal box in the safe room before the dead air finale, but I didn't really think about it until later so I'm not sure.

When the world is suffering from the zombie apocalypse, money isnt really a necessity.

I did too. Must've been a popular cereal.

I don't think this is an easter egg but I've noticed this numerous times.

From distance it looks like a witch:

But it's actually a squid (correct me if it's not a squid):

I was hoping it was a Bullsquid. : <

I noticed it too , I turned and thought it was a smokers tongue so I sprayed the area to the side of it with fire. I felt really stupid after.

Something I always see in the hospital, and it reminds me of this forum.

Could one of the new campaigns take us through a supermarket?

I remember a while ago ZT posted some videos from a c-grade horror movie where a guy picks up a lawn mower and chops up zombies. I think in the third chapter of death toll right before the bridge you can find a lawnmower in the ground floor of the house, surrounded by zombie bits and gore.

Purposeful reference?

Here's a pic of that scene:

And I'm not sure if this counts as an easter egg but this gives an idea of when Left 4 Dead is set:

ZT posted a video of that scene, and as far as I can tell, they're pretty much identical.

Found this while playing as Hunter on versus on No Mercy.
Burger Tank.
Also a nice shot of Mercy Hospital behind the sign blocks it a bit though.

Seems like L4D is set in October 2009, get ready everyone!

Got some more screenies. I can't remember which ones I already uploaded... so here comes all of them.

Death Toll:

Wanted to take pictures of all the clocks I could find... Seems they're all on the same time like in HL2. Guess I was looking for a little speculation, but I can't blame valve for not wanting to remodel every single clock.

There is the empty no-texture level bug...

Anyway, some things that haven't been pointed out yet.

1. All computers still turned on in the game (in Death Toll, Dead Air and No Mercy) have Steam installed.
2. The bible verse referenced in Death Toll is this:
For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite you and your people with pestilence; and you shall be cut off from the earth.
