L4D2 Maps in L4D?

So I've been thinking, Valve have stated that the SDK will work for both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2. Could the modding community conceivably make the maps retroactive and port them over to L4D1 (easily)? Obviously the weapon stashes would need to be replaced with the old ones (Unless they are the same, and L4D2 just loads up different files than L4D1) and the new boss infected would not be in there.

I can also see how this could bring up some legal issues (not sure, not a lawyer). But Valve have been pretty lax about this kind of thing in the past, haven't they?

They're pretty lax because dealing with it is nearly impossible.

Also, there are a number of things in L4D2 which aren't in L4D, which aren't too easy to port. Such as the AI director's new ability to change the layout of the map and how crescendos work differently. Also, there's a huge amount of new materials, decals and props, which will also require porting, which will necessarily also take a long time to port.
