Lack of vanilla/stock map servers

Why is it that the longer a Valve multiplayer game has been out, it becomes increasingly difficult to find pure/stock map rotation server?

I'm so sick and tired of booting up the server browser in steam and seeing nothing but,

24/7 dust_2
24/7 office
24/7 2fort
24/7 avalanche
24/7
24/7
instant respawn
orange map
sdfasf23425CrapCustomMap.dod
half a$$ed custom maps only
ELITE SNIPERZZZZZZZZZZZ

It's practically impossible to find a vanilla/ stock map server in CS:S. It's difficult in DOD:S and even the vanilla servers in TF2 are starting to disappear.

So many stock maps in a lot of Valve's games never get played because people seem content to play the same map 24/7, and camp in the same spot every single night. Don't you guys get bored of playing the same map over and over and over and over again? How about some variety?

Rarely do I see CS Militia or DOD Palermo getting played. There are other maps in these games that I can't even recall because no servers play them anymore. You don't see Granary or Hydro in TF2 very often either anymore.

I don't mind custom maps if they're at the same quality as Valve's maps. Like the DoD camp packs, but the truth is a lot custom maps are pure garbage. YES! I'm aware Valve has given us the option to not download custom content and/or audio files onto our computers and I'm thankful for that.

I just want to play normal TF2, CS:S and DOD:S. I don't want to play gungame or warcraft or any other mod.

Am I alone or is there anyone else here who knows what I'm talking about?

Lastly, if I had the time, money and knowledge to start my own server, you bet I would!

i see militia all the time, but i think that custom maps are better so im not really looking for the stock ones.

Personally i stay away from custom maps, but i do like 24/7 maps. There are some maps i like more and some that i don't want to play.playing on a 27/7 usually means your playing with people who are very skilled on that map which make it more fun.

They are stock maps. My problem is all the 24/7 servers that don't bother with any of the other stock maps. These are usually the maps that are 24/7.

There just needs to be a way to filter them out of the list - there's usually a few about (although I'd love to find a server rotating all stock maps with normal respawn times and good ping). The tags are optional, no?
