lag issues on hi end pc

any of u guys get any slow down or pauses in the kanal level in the tunnels?? it seems to happen a lot.
I have an amd 64 3200
gef 6800 128 meg
asus kav se deluxe mb
1 gig geil ram..

im playing at 1280 res.. everything set to hi..
any clue?
