Hi
My CS:Source worked fine with my old computer (AMD XP2000, 1024 RAM old Soltek SL75kav mainbord and ATI9800 PRO)
But I updated most of the computer some days ago and when I play online I experience lagging and small hangups for a second or two. My latency is also higher then it used to be, even though my ISP claims nothing is wrong (10Mbit/1Mbit ADSL)
Today I have a Soltek K8TPro -939 with a AMD64 3200, 1024 Twinmos RAM (2pcs 512), Serial ATA 160Gb harddrive, ATI9800 PRO. This mainbord has Gigabit ethernet adarter onboard which I use. My guess is some problem with the ethernet settings, there are several settings to adjust, but I can't find out what the settings does.
Anyone experienced the same problem with this type of mainboard with K8T800 chip? or having any tip on how to configure CS:source for better performance?
Don't tell me to "update the drivers" Since there are no newer drivers around to my hardwares :cheese:
