laggish type stuff..

While i'm playing sometimes all the ragdolls around me will kind of stand up and refall back down.. and then it'll show all my weapons and equipment (the weapon font) and will make that sound like when you buy stuff. Right during the middle of a game. Any idea why? :hmph:

2.4 gig
512 ram
Geforce 4 ti4600

Any simple things I can do to improve performance? Little tweaks?

I assume it's because your computer attempts to relocate the positions of ragdols and guns because of a jump in your connection making it lose data. This means it's connection-based, and probably a faulty connection. Or a bad server.
