LAN Party

in a few weeks i think im gunna have some mates ronud to have abit of a lan party i was wondering if anyone has any idears of cool multiplayer games that will be worth playing over lan
atm we go:

UT2004 demo
Quake III
op flahpoint
C&C generals
HL and mods
mayb BF:vietnam if its out by then
mayb secrios sam 2 if i can get ahold of it

generaly want fun quick and easy games. dont really wanna sod around for ages

i think the rest of the time we will just be owning music off each other

Great game for LANs. BF:V will be a great choice also. If you have it, Jedi Knight II is great for LANs because of lightsaber duels.

only probly really is CD keys :S mayb can own a key gen from some were

When you play on a LAN only one CD is needed.

oh and get some pajama sam and spyfox goin on, major fun right there.

Throw in good ol' ut99 for good measure, that game rocks at LANs !

Empire Earth is great for LANs, it will run on almost any computer(bought in the last 6 years) and you only need 1 CD and no unique CD key.

cool thanx for the tips.. tbh i dont think im gunna buy any games but might go download some if you dont need cd key.... just only gunna play um once

what do people think of bf:vietnam.... think its gunna be better then bf:1942?

Yes, CoD! And, I can't stress this enough, Sven co-op. It's easy to get hold of (half-life mod) and immense fun. Desert Combat is good too, as is BF1942 and add-ons (especially secret weapons) but BF:V is coming out on the 23rd or something, so don't count on it unless its ages till your LAN party. Oh, Natural Selection is good too, since you can actually give proper orders by shouting at your mates.
