laptop drivers for ati!???

My gf's computer is an athlon 3200 64bit pc, with a mobile radeon 9600.. with windows xp (regular not 64 bit)... i went to the ati website for the graphics drivers, when i goto install sais not compatable.. is there special drivers for laptops...?

ya, there are special drivers for laptops, there are there somewhere Im pretty sure. My Buddya has a latop with a 9000 in it and we I updated his drivers for him a few months ago.

Edit 2: It seems you have to download the drivers from nthe laptop manufacturers website. Find out what company made her laptop then go to there site and look for that model and software updates.

I'm pretty sure you can use Omega drivers with laptops.

Hi,

Try http://www.omegadrivers.net/ for drivers - i updated my ATI Radeon 9000 from here and can now play HL2 without any problem/crashing.
