Laptop Memory Upgrade

I have a laptop with 512Mb of ram and I was wondering if it was possible to add more ram to the laptop?

It is a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo. Not sure what model, will look that up. It runs XP on it and maybe giving it 1.5Gb might make it run a bit faster.

Edit2: Found out it can take upto 2 sticks of 1024Mb DDr2 533/667Mhz However I'm not sure about the process of adding ram to a laptop. Is it similar to a pc?

Should be a trap door screwed shut on the bottom of the machine.
