Ok Gurus, I've got a problem.
I have a 200 GB drive that I'm trying to use in an external enclosure that doesn't support drives larger than 137 GB. I thought I could just put the drive in my PC, partition it into 100 GB and 100 GB, and then put it back in the external enclosure... this does not work.
It partitions fine when hooked up directly via ATA, but when I put it into the external enclosure and hook that up, I can see both 100 GB sections, but can only access the first one - the other does not allow me to explore - gives me an I/O error and I am unable to reformat it correctly.
Is there a special way I should format or some special order to do it, or is it impossible?
Thanks for any help
