Last Minute Flights

I often find myself where I have 3-5 days spare as well as a bit of money and would like to take a spontaneous flight to another city that same day or the next.

The problem is, I find all these flight comparison websites and what not, but they all ask for a destination and to be honest I'm not bothered where I go - wherever's cheapest as long as it's out of the UK is what I want.

Does anyone know of a site that will let me say 'I want to fly somewhere from Belfast for as cheap as possible as soon as possible, what ideas can you give me?'

Alternatively, anyone ever taken a spontaneous trip like that? Bonus points if you went solo.

I think lastminute.com will do something like that for you.

I like holidays a lot, so I tend to always plan them properly...with a real desire for me to want to go to that place. After a few weeks planning I booked a trip to Barcelona this summer, looking forward to it muchly.

I always get really tempted to do things like that, especially after going travelling last year. I recommend exploring Europe, a city at a time, because it's a staggeringly amazing place. A great place to start would be somewhere like Prague for both the history behind the place and the fantastic night life.

For your departure, type in your city of departure(obviously) and then just leave the destination blank, and it'll show a listing of prices for various destinations, the cheapest being at the top. It's a pretty damn good site

I'm the only one in my family who's never been to Prague, everyone recommends it.

Personally I would recommend Berlin, very interesting clash of new and old, soviet and the west, plus all kinds of monuments and museums.
