latency fluctuation

Guys...I encounter some wierd latency changing while playing CSS.
Range from my normal 40 to 900 on same server.
Now...It aingt updating anything (at least I cant see it).
I have AdAware, spybot, NOD32 and The Cleaner for trojans.
Non of them could find anything.
Cananyone gave me some advice what else canI check?.
Ping was preaty much between 40-60...untill last night when It change frequently from 40 to 900.
Please...Please help with some assistance
 
i sometimes experience that too. i beleive its my router or modem disconnecting me, but reconnecting me soon enough to keep me ingame. im trying to figure out how to sort my router and modems out to work properly
 
What are your system specs and network setup? type of internet connection? etc

Try a search in google for updated firmware for your router and/or modems.

This may help.
 
I have DSL 384/64....384 is d/l speed....64 is upload.
But I think it got something to do with me using TS2..
While Im talking there is a jump from normal 40 to 400 till 900.
Now since TS is not that complicated program (not using much upload allthough I put it to unlimited)....why is there those fluctuations?.
What setup maybe In TS2 should I change?.
I heard maybe for TS server we use to change codec?
 
Put CS priority on "Below normal", Steam on "Low".

TeamSpeak can and will do that to an internet connection, regardless how low you put it. That's always a problem with internet, only way that I know resolves it is two completely seperate internet connections on two different computers.
 
Nope....solution was with lowering codec..put older codec that mean.
We used 16.4 before and my ping raised high till 900 when I was talking.
Now, we changed server codec to 9.3 and it running smooth.
So...any of you that might expiriance similar problem...try that
