And I remember another bit in the mines, a bunch of carts with crates strapped to them, normally if you grab one the rest tumble into a pit and the Vortigaunt gets all pessimistic and preaches, but I found a way to get them all and he comments on my reflexes and skill and how those crates will come in handy soon. Very nice of them.

And of course right at the beginning. "Zombies. I got em" And after you blow them up, "Or you do."

During the final battle, a rebel will say, "God, I hope I make it through this!". Three seconds later, a Strider will destroy the Sawmill, killing him too.

I LOL'd pretty hard. That's the sort of dark humor we saw in HL1.

I liked the bit where they get the car patched up and just as you're walking out the room I heard the NPC say to Alyx - "So, what, he's your boyfriend or something?"

Made me chuckle.

That rebel who helped fix the car definately had a thing for Alyx.

Oh and Kevin: They've added the vocal stylings of Mr Adam Baldwin to the rebel cast for Episode 2, hence some of them sound different.

I'm disappointed they didn't make more of it tbh. If I was Alyx, being driven from a combine helicopter that has to stop every few hundred yards in order to punt a gnome a little further, i'd get a little pissed.
