So I'm on an HP w2007 LCD monitor, and somehow it's giving me a problem that looks like this:

The brightly colored menu to the left is somehow visible and blurred off to the right, where the menu ends vertically.

Does anyone know what's wrong with my monitor? :c

Hum... Try a different cable? Or if you can a different port (like vga instead of dvi) to try to pinpoint the cause.

Just to be sure, the screenshot is a image-manipulated mock-up of the problem right? Because if you can save a screenshot of a graphical artifact, it's a problem with the graphics card.

Does the problem persist in alternate resolutions or with alternate refresh rates? (though, what's the difference with using a higher frequency on an LCD monitor anyway?)

Err, yeah. I have no answers, only questions :p

Oh shit lol I didn't even realize that Kupo. I'm willing to bet it's not a mockup... ZT does not have those skills.

Yep, it's a mock-up. Edititited in photoshop and everything :)

The problem refuses to leave even with different resolutions.

And Veg, ZT? Skills? Wat?

Lol jesus I got you confused with ZT for some reason. It's your avatar or something.

Is it in everything you do or only web browsing?

If it's in everything, then it's either graphics card or monitor issue (for some reason, I would lean more towards graphics card issue).

If it's just web browsing, then try a different browser or something, who knows!

Can anyone tell me if I can run a DVD player through a computer LCD monitor for watching a DVD. No Comp. used? I would like to use my LCD computer monitor by itself to watch a DVD played from a DVD player. With this work or does the Monitor have to have a tuner like a TV set.

What you should do is test the monitor on another computer or laptop.
