LCD or CRT?

Which is better for gaming? I already purchased a new LCD monitor 17 in. It was only $189. I was wondering if I should have just bought a cheap 17in CRT monitor.
I was wondering if a 30 ms response time was bad or not. I saw another monitor that was like $50 more and and had a response time of 16 ms. I was wondering if 30 ms would ghost or if it would run fine.

30ms screens do tend to ghost a lot and you should have bought a screen with a 16ms response time as a minimum. If you want to put the LCD v CRT ghosting issue into perspective i should tell you its very rare to buy a CRT these days thats slower than a 2ms response time. 30ms is very slow even for a modern LCD.
