Lead and Gold Free Weekend

So this is a pretty fun little thing. The maps I played on were kind of bland (who decided these wild west characters should have so many caves and canyons?), but the gameplay is kind of fun. I thought there'd be more towns and what not, but I only played two maps so that's not really a decisive sample.

Not sure if I'll buy it yet, but it is a fairly fun game. I like the Deputy the most I think. I just wanted to start a thread because I wrote a bunch of stuff on my website, but no one goes to it so it's kind of a one sided conversation.

Eh, I personally think that this game sucks ass.
Buggy, laggy, and there's just not much to keep you playing.

Well if everyone is playing this weekend it may be fun. I've got some extra time to kill and games that are free for weekends turn out to be fun because everyone isn't paying for it and people are more energetic

I bought the game a while back when it first came out, had some fun for a week but it got old pretty quickly. Not sure how it plays now-a-days, I do remember it being horrifically unbalanced with every asshole and their cat playing Deputy.

The game is fun but it still has balance issues along with other quirks.
Spawn camping is a big issue in this game but the devs are too lazy to address it.

I guess I Should play more to see these things. I did notice the deputy was pretty tough but it seemed everyone but the sharpshooters were doing just fine. I had some good runs as a gunslinger though just fanning people like mad. I didn't notice a lot of spawn camping though generally there are only two spawn points at any given time... more often the "spawn stick" thing would just be destroyed by the enemy though.
