Learning about Laptops!

Can anyone point me in the direct of somewhere with a comprehensive article about the ins and outs of laptops... the differnt display types, trade offs, etc?

I tried google, but could only find out of date stuff and buying guides.

I doubt you will find a comprehensive article about laptops. Laptop technology changes really fast. Most of my laptop knowledge is terribly outdated.

If I were you I would browse through these sites.

PCWorld.com is tends to have good info on laptops.
