Left 4 Dead Achievements Stats

Valve have released the achievements stats for Left 4 Dead and it looks like there's no Zombie Genocidest yet.[br] <div align="center"></div>[br]

I know of one person who had that achievement, (Zombie Genocidest) AciD was telling me about it I believe. He worked solidly on them from release, I'm not sure if it was possible to do it in the time he did though, thus Valve reset his achievements.

Anyway, nice to see these as usual! I have none of the lower ones too, akimbo assassin is one I have bothered to do though.
 
I did "Unbreakable" with bots, easy, on Death Toll. I didn't use anything to heal me and I go on the boat with 23 HP. Only 1.7% of people have that. Also I have Untouchables which is pretty easy to get but is another rare one with .7%. Some are plain impossible though and idk how people get them like "Nothing Special".
 
I was surprised when I saw that no one had the Zombie Genocide one.
Can you get these achievements in a LAN game or not?
 
Anyone who has genocidist by now (or anytime soon) is obviously cheating. Perhaps Valve is watching this achievement more closely than the rest and the first person to get it without obviously cheating (killing 1000/minute, etc.) will get special recognition. :cheers:

..and if they do cheat the achievement is just reset. (ala acid) :p
 
0% doesn't mean no-one's done it. Just that not enough to register 0.1% have done it.
 
Aye. It needs 5 in 10,000 people to have the achievement to register 0.1%.

It's still a small percentage though.
 
I guess that means there is currently <0.05% of cheating no-life scum in L4D. :cheese:

I keep wanting to get that achievement, but it just can never get set up for me. I go into single player, but the bots always get at least one bullet into the tank even though I set up traps for it with grenades and shit.

I also was going for the no-friendly fire one when I had a whoopsies moment when shooting the tank.

Then I was going for the don't wake a witch achievement, but then I said **** it and tried for cr0wned, which I also didn't get.

So yeah, even though I was trying for like 3 achievements, I got one, which was just beating dead air :LOL:

It's difficulty isn't what's interesting about it. The spread of the Infection needed for that achievement started, I believe, with a small number of Valve people. It's interesting how fast it spread to 49% of all players (and all players don't play Versus).
 
What on earth are you talking about? Valve people? You get that achievement from getting vomited on and getting the vomit on another survivor.
 
Yeah a bunch of people have gotten that in offline games.


Also there was an achievement unlocked for a while so even if it was a viral achievement they would have ****ed up the spread.
 
I got it playing normal campaigns, just after a boomer vomited and I backed into my fellow survivors.

I think the confusion over the Valve element was due to some post a newbie made in a thread that said 'what if it's killing people from Valve', and then everyone thought that was what it was, what a terrible sentence this is.

I got the one for killing the tank without anyone taking damage, that was nice, to think tha a tank in its infinite annoyance did **** all and died like a bitch. :sniper:

Gee I wonder if those events are related in anyway. I've played a lot of Campaigns but I've only ever seen Outbreak being achieved in Versus mode, and many, many times at that. Once I got the achievement I've since passed it on to many people by vomiting on them and nothing else, even when they were on their own! And then when they were Boomers they managed to pass it on to more people.

Hey, hey, I wasn't doubting you, I was saying it's peculiar that I got it in Campaign.

I am very proud to have been part of the 0.0% of L4D players who had achieved Zombie Genocidest.

And Valve did not!!! reset my achievements they said awhile back as long as players work hard for those achievements they are ok with however we achieve them and that is what I did worked hard for Zombie Genocidest.

I currently have achieved 50/51 that is 98% of the L4D achievements achieved.
 
I don't care about the achievements, i just want to play the game.
