Legacy/Southpay controls

Hello,

Does anyone know if the Orange Box for the Xbox 360 has options for alternative controls i.e. Legacy and Southpaw?

I apologise if this has been asked before but I couldn't find any threads relating to this on the FAQ.

Legacy and Southpaw are...?

IIRC only the PS3 version has mouse support.

Legacy and Southpaw are different configurations for controlling your characters movements via the analogue sticks (left/right, strafe, look up/down and aiming). A lot of FPS of late have been released with only default controls available whereas a lot of people use legacy and southpaw.

So does anyone know if the Xbox 360 version of the Orange Box will come with alternative control configurations on the analogue sticks?

Knowing Valve, they'll integrate various controller schemes, because Valve are nice.

Last console shooter I played that had very poor control optimisation was Turok: Evolution, but that game was the skittery runs.

Half Life 2 is nothing short of excellent, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Cheers for the responses guys, I'll email the software developers and ask them!

I did have Half Life on the PS1 a long time ago and that had alternative options for the analogue sticks so hopefully the orange box will be the same.

hey did you find out if it had legacy .... I also one of those people that can only use legacy controls. NO point in me buying the game if i cant play it.;(
