Yay! Never played the first Lego Star Wars game but I heard so many good things about it. Lets see if Gamershell has it ....

I take it you're downloading from that UK server? I downloaded the CoH client from that one and I was amazed how fast it was for a public Fileplanet server. Joining the waiting line now since Gamershell is giving me a lousy 188 kb/s. Let's see who's faster, heheh.

EDIT By coincidence I started the FP download when the Gamershell download was at exactly 50%. Now the race is on. FP is managing a steady 900 kb/s while GH is creeping along at 190 kb/s.
/looks at both ETA's and cancels GH download.

Yeah, a bit surprising to see a UK server on Fileplanet. Usually it's only servers located in US.

Anyway I just played it, and I can say that anyone who liked the previous game will definitely like this too. Great demo.
 
I'm experiencing significant performance issues.

Also from the very few moments I got to experience before having to exit the demo because of 1 frame a second performance... I didn't like the control scheme.

Yeah it's a console game, really meant to be played with a controller.
 
Well, I think its pretty okay (probably because I played the first game a lot with the keyboard). It takes a while to get used to of course. A game pad is recommended though.
 
Anyone tried co-op yet? If so, how is it? Similar to the first game?

I would but my brother is busy doing his... thing.
 
Bah! What's with all the frickin' demos this month? I'm already picking and chosing...
 
is this game actually fun?? I thought it was just a budget title thing... might as well try it as i wait for the other demo coming out today :D

I'm loving the demo extravaganza.

We haven't had any decent demo releases for months now.

And now we're getting swarmed with them :D

loved the first one. reminds me i should probably try and beat it. i don't think i ever did. i started having problems in the middle of the game. need to get this demo soon
