Earlier today, The International 2014 Chinese qualifiers came to a close with LGD Gaming besting CIS Game 3:1 in the Best-Of-5 grand finals.
The final match, which lasted a mere 28 minutes, saw LGD's Weaver dominate early team fights before picking up a Linken's Sphere at the 18 minute mark and an Aegis of the Immortal and a Desolator at 22 minutes. With so much farm and some good team play from LGD, a pair of strong pushes and team fights on the middle and bottom lanes spelled the end for CIS.
This confident win over CIS has allowed LGD Gaming to qualify for the main tournament in July as the 14th team, leaving only room for the winning teams of both the upcoming European qualifier and the Play-In series. As runner-ups, CIS will return in July for the Play-In series alongside Team Liquid and MVP Phoenix, all of whom will be looking to secure the 16th and final spot in the main event.
The European qualifier is set to begin tomorrow at 12pm CEST, so be sure to stay up to date with the EU or NA Hubs on Twitch.TV.
