Light does not pass through walls

Hey, I was wondering if any of you would be able to help me with a little problem I'm having...

Basically, light seems to pass through walls into the next room and light also tends to creep in from the corners of the room, so I was wondering if anybody knew how I could fix this problem? I have tried multiple 'solutions' but to no avail.

Hello, you may try checking the lightmap resolution on your problem brushes, or you could split the brushes between the rooms. If you do the latter, be careful about how you go about doing it.

If the problem is light is passing through walls, you might just want to name the thread appropriately.
