Light question

How do i make a room dark? Do i add a light entity then what do i do?thanks
 
when your choosing the color the last number is the brightness lower that and mess around with it
 
Is your map completely full bright? Make sure you compile with vis and rad and that you have no leaks. Your map does need to have at least one light in it.
 
Just going to give you a tip you might find helpful or not later.
You can give a light a black or other dark color, to darken areas. It may or may not look good though.
 
If you have an enclosed room, use the "light" entity. The last number in the Brightness field is the number to mess with, as stated above. Normally the default number is 200 I think. Try this out with vis and rad to see what you come out with.

If you have an outdoor environment, use the light_environment like stated above.

Put several lights throughout your map and test it using different brightnesses to see what fits best for your gameplay.
