Linking images in Windows Live Hotmail/Windows Live Mail

Is it feasible? I remember back in the good old days, all I had to do was to switch the rtf editor off, put the image tags, and switch the editor on, and I'd have my images in my email.

I haven't been able to do it with windows live.

Any ideas?
