Linksys Wireless Router problem

Im using a linksys wireless router which is hooked up to my desktop, i also have a laptop that i use around the house.. The internet usually works fine but ive notticed that on ventrilo, it connects and works fine for a min and then dissconnects, same thing on irc, it doesnt ping pong like mirc usually does and somtime it works but then stops, and ih ave to restart , i know its my router issue because when i unplug the router internet is fine, ive tried looking in the router ip admin service but theres only port forwardding and i dont think thats what i need to help me solve this problem, any ideas please let me know

by the way cs source runs fine 24/7 its just those 2 apps ive noticed and maybe others

Do you have a hardware firewall? Maybe some conflicts are happening there. I dunno, just a guess. I don't have wireless (yet).
