loading error

I'm up to Highway 17. I have been across the bridge, destroyed the gunship and am making my way back to the toen. When I get to the last door or thereabouts it stops to load up the next map and then up comes the title page - new game etc. Any ideas. Thanks.

Do you need anything else?

I'm getting crashes on this spec but generally runs smooth. Reloads ok. First problem with a map not loading. The first time it happened there was a message about saved map but it disappeared quickly. Possibly corrupt but I don't see why that would stop next map loading.

Could the map be deleted somehow?

I don't think so. I've never looked to see where the game is stored. I ran the Steam app to validate the files and that was ok - at least it ran and finished with no message.

I tried deleting the local files and re-installing but that didn't help. Then forced loading of the next map through the console. This map ran to the end then the next one loaded so there must have been something wrong at one particular place.
