steam, cs:s all load fine. when i try to join a server, it would usually hang at "retrieving server info". the rare time that i do get in, play for like 10 sec, and then i get thrown back to the loading screen, and get stuck at "retrieving server info". sometimes i have to hard reboot, sometimes i can alt tab out.
