When the "Loading" message appears it takes about 30 seconds to get back to playing the game.
I'm running an Intel 3.8, 1 Gig high speed memory and a 120 gig hard drive with a PCix graphics adapter. All the latest drivers are loaded.
Any help would be appreciated.

it's your hard drive speed that governs how fast it loads, faster (10-15k rpm) disk would help but there's a lot of stuff to load up

"loading"

Thanks for the input.
I am using high speed drives.
Maybe i did not put the problem right.
When playing the game, moving on to a new section the "loading" comment comes up and then it takes 30 + seconds to move on.

try lower the oc bus, and voltage, i see you oc p4 to 3.8..
it happens if you dont have good PSU
give me your all spec. of computer

Mine takes longer than that. I thought it was bad too. but I think its normal.

If anyone knows a way to make it shorter, I'm listening

You could try defrag your hard drive. That may help a little.

thats the same thing, how high speed are your drives? 10k? 15k? my 200GB 7200rpm loads a new level in under 30seconds though. like someone else said try defragmenting your HDD, that helped me:D

Thanks for all the inputs.
My drives are all 7200 by 15k running on the Intel high speed bus.
The memory is the DDR2 (1GiG)
The processor is an unlocked P4 3.6 dual thread
The PS is a 560 watt unit
Audigy 4 sound
The graphics is a PCIE
The drive ard defragged every two days and the system is virus scanned at bringup plus there is an active firewall in place
The system is setup to be program tuned.

If 30 seconds is normal for these loads and I see 8 to 10 loads an hour this is going to be a BPITA.
Thanks again
