So I finally got my GBA Player (SD Version) from Lik-Sang and it is one of the greatest things I have ever purchased. Not only can I now watch whatever movies or vids I want on my GBA/SP/DS, I can listen to loads of music, look at loads of images, and even play my backups of all of my favorite NES games! Your only real limitation is the size of your SD/CF card. The Player was ~$30 and for this much fun, you simply cannot go wrong. Its extremely easy to use, the software is quick and effective, and you can be up-and-running in minutes!

I encourage anyone with any GBA/SP/DS to stop what they are doing and order because its seriously the coolest thing I have seen so far for Nintendo handhelds...well, at least until Opera comes out...:E

Note--PSP fanboys: please don't corrode this thread with comments like, "The PSP already does this" or some such. Thanks!

Link to product description?
I'd like to learn more.

0mg0d DZ is leki so gay!!!

But on a more serious note, how much memery does it have?
Isn't it true that the PSP does all that, and can also play N64 games?
Can U sue it to play Snes games?

If you could stand using that horrible excuse for an analogue stick that is the PSP thumb nubbin ;)

I'd get one of these for my DS if it allowed snes roms to be played.

How so is it bad, I tried it and I loved it, a real improvement from the standard digital controls.

Where do you obtain said contraption? I'll be picking up a Lite ASAP, and this intrigues me......

And no one wnats to hear a PSP vs. DS stramash. :hmph:

Find said device here.

It won't be able to play SNES games (yet), but Datel has a media player option too that, with better software (see this review), will hopefully clear all of this up and allow bigtime games and homebrew, but there's no good timetable as of now, so the player I mention seems to be the best option for Nintendo handhelds folks. For NES games, music, movies, and pics for ~$30, how can you go wrong?? Answer: you can't. Go get it!

How much space does it have? Can you have good bitrate with the music or is it crap?

It doens't have ANY space. you're supposed to buy a SD card if you don't already own one, and that card is what determines the space (if you buy 128/256/512/1gig/2gig etc) cards.

Thanks. Thought I made this clear in my first post....

Oh, and the sound quality is a step below mp3, but still very good for most music.

I've been wanting this for a while, and I'm glad to see it works on the Micro. Sold!
